

“Miss Addie” Kelley, 20, of Mont Belvieu, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at the San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown. She was born February 15, 1987 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Shortly after her birth her family moved to the Mont Belvieu area, where she spent the rest of her life. Miss Addie attended the Barbers Hill Schools and was active in the Anchor Club, Spanish Club, UIL, Varsity Softball and the Cross Country Team. She was also a member of the Eagle Heights Fellowship Church in Mont Belvieu.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, May 26, 2007 at the Navarre Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 27, 2007 at the Eagle Heights Fellowship Church in Mont Belvieu with Rev. Scott Neal officiating. Burial will follow at the Cedarcrest Cemetery in Baytown.
She is survived by: Parents: Chris Griggs and Chandra Griggs-Achtenberg and her husband Justin; Brothers: Joshua Griggs and K. C. Griggs; Step-Brothers: Alan Achtenberg and Chris Achtenberg; Step-Sisters: Katie Ann Achtenberg and Danielle Achtenberg; Grandparents: Carl and Linda Kelley, Phil and Elizabeth Brown and Charles and Joyce Griggs; Aunts and Uncles: Valarie and Tom Thompson, Libby and Jay Farabee, Cathy Griggs and Clay and Tammy Griggs; Cousins: Cade Farabee, Chloe Farabee, Corey Thompson, Cortney Thompson and Haley Griggs and numerous more relatives. She also leaves behind many loving and loyal friends who encouraged and supported this angel: They are: Susan Bender, Terra Cox, Christy Axelson and many others.
