Morris Douglas Johnson

Morris Douglas Johnson, 63, of Beach City, was born in Brandon, MS, on November 9, 1949. He went to be with the Lord on April 4, 2013, after a long battle with diabetes. Morris is a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved music, fishing and being with his grandchildren. He was a veteran Marine and served in Okinawa.

Morris is preceded in death by his parents, Anglin and Annie Johnson; brothers, Jerry, James and Robert; sister, Imajean. He is survived by his loving wife, Winnie Johnson; brother, Dwight; sons, David and wife, Kathy; Mark and wife, Ronna; stepdaughter, Cheryl; stepsons, Bud and wife, Leah; James and wife, Becca; grandchildren, Zachary, Kendall, Toni, Brendan, Corey, Peyton, Jennifer, Chase, Julie, Christopher, Seth, Jared, Rylee; great grandchildren, Payden and Jax.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 7, 2013, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Earthman Funeral Home Chapel, 3919 Garth Rd, Baytown, TX 77521.

Funeral services will held on Monday, April 8, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Earthman Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. David Brumbelow. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Zachary Johnson, Brendan Johnson, Jesse Husband, Brett Dyson, Tony Dalhquist, Jr., Chris Hall, Servando Suazo & Odilon Macedo.
