Moussa "Mike" Merched Faycal, a kind-hearted, hard-working, and devoted husband, passed away on February 8, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on June 20, 1957, in Lebanon, Moussa was a resident of Baytown, Texas.
Moussa graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. It was during his professional journey that he met his beloved wife. Their love story began at work, leading to 38 wonderful years of marriage. Moussa was preceded in death by his parents Merched and Salam Faycal and his sister, Yvette Faycal. He is survived by his wife Randa Faycal, brother, sister, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Known for his great love of gambling and sports, Moussa enjoyed playing poker, especially Texas hold'em, and found joy in fishing. His affection for animals was well-known, and he was a great caregiver to all the strays he met.
