

Mrs. Nanki P. Wadhwani, 84, passed away peacefully on the morning of November 24, 2013 in Baytown, Texas. Nanki Lalchandani was born on September 11, 1929, in Sukhar, Sindh to her late parents Gurmukhdas and Laxmi Lalchandani. Nanki and her late husband Pokerdas Wadhwani had 4 daughters and 2 sons born to them. They lived in India, where her late husband was Dean and Principal of an Engineering College and she was a happy home-maker and a devoted loving mother. Her husband passed away in June 1975, in New Delhi. She was always the pillar of strength for the entire family. The success of her children is greatly attributed to her continued devotion. Nanki continued to live in India until 1999, which is when she moved to the United States to be closer to some of her children that had settled here.
Nanki was always a loving mother and a caring grandmother. She is survived by daughters, Meena Navani and Saroj Basantani; sons, Kishen Wadhwani and Dharmesh Wadhwani; sons-in-law, Prakash Navani and Kishore Basantani; daughters-in-law, Manju Wadhwani and Anju Wadhwani; and grandchildren, Sunil Chablani, Vinit Chablani, Neetu Dhankani, Sandeep Asnani, Ritu Pamnani, Vineeta Patel, Raajeev Navani, Neeraj Basantani, Tehniya Wadhwani, Vineet Basantani and Krishen Wadhwani.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kishen Wadhwani, Dharmesh Wadhwani, Prakash Navani, Raajeev Navani, Sachin Pamnani, and Nimesh Patel.
She will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved her.
