Naomi Lee Mathews

Funeral services for Mrs. Naomi Lee Mathews, who entered into rest December 28, 2014, will be conducted Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 12pm at Earthman Funeral Home, Danny Bezet officiating. Interment will be at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX.

Mrs. Naomi Mathews was born September 23, 1928 and was a native of Florida having made Baytown her home for the past forty two years. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She was one of eleven children of Moses and Pearl Conner.

Mrs. Mathews was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Morris Mathews, and a son, John Edward Strasser.

Survivors include one daughter Janet Lee Young (Kurt) of Evans, GA. and one son Jeffrey Robert Strasser (Suzanne) of Orlando, FL.; five grandchildren, Brian and Jason Zinck, Justin and Nicholas Strasser, and Jessica Kesler, eight great-grandchildren, Kayla, Koby, Noah, Jacob, Katelyn and Jonathan Zinck and Savannah and Shelley Kesler.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday morning, December 31, 2014, 10am to 12pm, prior to the funeral service.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the doctors and nurses at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital for their loving care and for the care and support of the staff at Remington Park.
