Nicholas Nick Valdes

Nicholas ""Nick"" Valdes, 22, of Baytown, TX was born July 16, 1985 in Baytown and passed away Saturday, April 12, 2008 in Baytown. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was a 2003 graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School and had attended Lee College. He was the most easy going guy that one could meet and would give you the shirt off of his back. He enjoyed playing video games and was a sports fanatic. He had several friends whom he loved.

He is survived by his parents, DeLeesa and Danny Ross of Baytown and Joe and Teresa Valdes of Burleson; sisters, Sara Danielle Valdes of San Diego, CA, Miriam Mock of Germantown, TN and Maria Ruiz of Burleson; brother, Dustin Ross of Baytown; grandparents, Terry and Iris Dill of The Woodlands, Consuelo Valdes of La Porte and Ubaldo Valdes of Cuba; great grandmother, Nieves Torres of Baton Rouge, LA; and several other family members.

Serving as pallbearers will be Todd Cunningham, Nick Tilly, Alvin Samuels, Dustin Ross, Brandon Harrison, Joey Norton, Justin Valdez, and Timothy Galloway.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at First Baptist Church, 505 Rollingbrook, Baytown, TX 77521, at 10:00 A. M. with Rev. Danny Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.

In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church.
