

Nora was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Curtis Naurice Jennings, her fourth son, Curtis Neal Jennings and her parents, Bart and Mary Antle of Baytown, Texas.
She is survived by her brothers, Reverend Nicholas C. Antle of St. Dominic’s Retirement Center in Houston, TX and Bart Joseph Antle and wife Nancy of Houston, TX, son Bart Jennings and wife Ann; Twin sons, Robert and Joe Jennings, twin daughter and son, Mary Jennings Jordan and Paul Jennings and wife Dawn; grandchildren Michael Jennings, Brian Jennings and Sean Jennings, Catherine and Marikate Jordan and Madeline Tipton; great grandchildren, Jonathon and Lauren Jennings and Bonnie Ann Smith. Her dear friend and first cousin, Bernice Odom of Houston, Texas and her children, John Goldner, Joe Goldner and Donna Lloyd and husband, Jeff.
Nora attended Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown, Texas her Freshmen and Sophomore years from 1941-1942. She then attended Incarnate Word Academy in Houston, Texas her junior and senior year and graduated in 1944. She was voted Most Popular Girl by the student body her Senior year. Nora graduated from Massey Business College in Houston, Texas in 1946. She assisted her father, Bart Antle in running the Antle Plumbing Company at 1812 N. Main in Baytown, Texas, for over 20 years. From 1972 to 1984, she worked for Alloys, Inc. as an executive assistant to Henry M. Johnson.
Nora was a Charter Member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club of Baytown, Texas. The Catholic Daughters Association and an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Baytown, Texas. She also taught for many years with the children’s CCE Program at St. Joseph Catholic School. Nora will be remembered by her family and friends for her character, love, strength, faith, wit, and example to all of a life well lived.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2011, with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Earthman Funeral Home Chapel, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 9, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father. Dwight Canizares officiating.
Burial will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
