Norma Ruth Cook

Norma Ruth Cook, age 83, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Norma was born January 17, 1939 in Springhill, Louisiana to parents Daniel Alexander Doughty, II and Beaulah Campbell.

Norma married H. Marvin Cook and they enjoyed a lasting 57 years of their lives together. She loved caring for her family and found joy in making her home warm and loving. Norma loved to do arts and craft projects. She was a member of Cedar Bayou Baptist Church.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Susan Cook. She is survived by her husband Marvin Cook; daughter and son-in-law Mary and Kenneth Holley; granddaughters Alexandria and Candis Holley; and her brother Daniel A. Doughty, III.

The family will receive guests for Norma on Monday, July 18, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 pm. Norma will be laid to rest in Louisiana.
