Ofelia Cruz

years of age. She was born on August 16, 1924 in Soliseño Tamaulipas, Mexico.

She married Sabas “Santos” Cruz on November 7, 1941. Sabas and Ofelia were married for 48 years and

formed a large family of 12 children, 53 grandchildren, 118 great grandchildren and 21 great

great grandchildren. She was a very loving and caring person to everyone she encountered and would

never let you go hungry by always preparing you a home cooked meal.

She was preceded by her husband Sabas Cruz, son Enafael Cruz, and daughter Rosa Ponce. She leaves

behind her children Servando Cruz, Fidela Villarreal, Armandina Garcia, Arminda Robles, Aurora

Quintero, Olga Morales, Hilda Sauceda, Ignacio Cruz, Maria de Los Angeles Rios and Sabas Cruz Jr.,

brothers Noe Sanchez, Felipe Rodriguez and Maria Cisneros.

Visitation will be held at Earthman Funeral Home on Monday June 1, 2015 at 5:00pm with rosary at

7:00pm. Funeral will be held on Tuesday June 2, 2015 at 9:00am at Earthman and at 10:30am at

Our Lady of Guadalupe Church followed by burial at Cedar Crest Cemetery.
