

Ofelia Macias, 86, a long resident of Baytown, passed from this life into eternal life on November 10th, 2022. She was born in Mexico on August 3rd, 1936, the son of Rosendo Corona and Maria Solis Garcia. Before she was widowed, she was married to Rodolfo Macias for 65 years.
Ofelia was a spiritual woman and an active member of Emanuel Baptist Church in Baytown. She had a passion for gardening and lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures such as spending time with family. She enjoyed dancing, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved very much. She also loved shopping and getting pampered at the nail salon. Ofelia was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that enjoyed having everyone together, especially to play her favorite game of Loteria. She also enjoyed traveling and often visited her hometown in Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodolfo Macias, her eldest son, Francisco Macias, along with her brother Fidel Corona.
She is survived by her son, Jorge Macias and his wife, daughter Marta Alicia and her husband, son, Rodolfo Macias, Jr., son, Juan Macias and his wife, son Jose Macias and his wife, along with 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was also loved by her two sisters Enedina Corona and Rosalina Corona, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Visitation will be from 5-8 pm, Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Navarre Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, TX 77521. Funeral service will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Navarre Funeral Home. Committal service will follow at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, TX 77521.
