Pansy Mae Carroll Jordan, age 83, passed away with peace and grace at her home in Huffman, Texas on January 21, 2018, with family at her side. She was born on May 18, 1934 in Goose Creek, Texas to the late Olin Anthony and Edna Jewel Carroll. She was the fourth of eight children. At 16 years old, she had already found her soul mate, and the love of her life, Jim Allen Jordan. On May 20, 1950, Jim and Pansy were united in the bonds of holy matrimony, a bond that lasted a lifetime. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Pansy loved her family above all else. She recognized that the love of a family is one of life's greatest blessings. While you have left an empty place in our hearts, you have also provided us with a lifetime of memories.
Pansy was preceded in death by her parents Olin Anthony and Edna Jewel Carroll, sisters Louise Woods and Audrey Ann Thane, brothers Travis Carroll, James Carroll, and Bobby Carroll, and granddaughter Rachel Yasso.
Pansy is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Jim Allen Jordan of Huffman; son, Jimmy Jordan of Huffman; daughters, Sherilyn Hunt and husband John of Huffman, Stacy Torres and husband Julio of Huffman; grandsons Dillon Yasso, Tyler Yasso, Brandon Villeneuve, and Joshua Torres of Huffman; granddaughters, Shelby Villeneuve and Jordyn Torres of Huffman; siblings, Barbara Fagan of Kingsland, and Tommy Carroll and wife Betty of Bryan; sister-in-law, Rebbie Carroll of Spring; and special friend Ronda Marsh of Humble. Serving as Pallbearers will beDillon Yasso, Tyler Yasso, Brandon Villeneuve, Joshua Torres, Keith Carroll and Paul Fagan.
Family, friends, and others, whose lives Pansy touched are invited to the viewing at Earthman Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, TX 77521, from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2018.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 1:00pm at Earthman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Cemetery, 14659 East Freeway, Houston, TX 77015.
