Patricia first accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior on Easter Sunday, April 17, 1949 at the First Baptist Church in Palestine, TX when she was 12 years old and she was baptized that same evening. She recalled that her mother had made her a daffodil yellow dress and she wore red shoes and carried a red purse for the occasion, which she said would be a huge fashion faux pas today. Mom later joined First Baptist Church - Pasadena and in March 2010, during a church trip to Israel, was baptized again in the Jordan River.
During her tenure at the Upjohn Company, Dow, Becon Construction Company, R.T. Willis Law Firm and San Jacinto College Central, Pat made many long and lasting friendships.
Pat always made others feel welcomed and accepted. She greeted everyone with her bright smile and a warm hug. To know her was to know love.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Brain Aneurysm Foundation.
