Patricia Ann O'Neal

Patricia Ann O’Neal, loving wife and mother, and longtime resident of Baytown, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017. Born July 14, 1931 in Goose Creek, Texas, to parents Henry and Audrey Patterson, she spent her early years in Beaumont, Texas. Married to Donald O’Neal, on September 24, 1949, they celebrated 67 years of marriage. She will be remembered best for her love of quilting and the beautiful quilts she created for each wedding and new baby.

Patricia is survived by her spouse Donald O’Neal, children and spouses Marsha and Don Minchew of Como, Peggy and Jim Jones of Austin, Donna and Warren Bracewell of Seabrook, Jeanne O’Neal and Richard Wagner of Spring, and Gary and Karen O’Neal of Austin. In addition there are nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and siblings Sidney Patterson of Eureka, MO, and Lois Morin of Shreveport, LA.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 9 at Earthman Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, TX 77521. A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 am on March 10 at Earthman Funeral Home. Services will be conducted by family friend Chaplain Doyle Ives. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Beaumont, TX.
