

Billy Kendrick 67, of Baytown, lost his fight with cancer Saturday October 15, 2005. He was born September 18, 1938 in Charleston, Mississippi. He owned and ran Coastal Armature Works in Baytown for 45 years. He served as a sergeant in the National Guard for 8 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. His word and handshake were his bond.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A graveside service is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Cedarcrest Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Randy Haney.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Kendrick and Lela Kendrick Cullison.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Barbara Sue Kendrick; children, Paul Kendrick Jr. and wife Beverly, Thomas Wayne Kendrick, DeDe Sue Griffith and husband Bobby Joe; grandchildren, Preston Reed Griffith, Evan Cole Griffith; aunts, Kathryn Smylie and husband Wat, Geraldine Brock and husband Charlie; step-sister, Faye Whitted and husband Sam; step-brother, Donald Cullison.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Billy Kendrick Scholarship Fund of Lee College.
