Pauline Mock Navarre

Pauline Mock Navarre, 88, of Baytown was born December 22, 1927, in Spurger, TX and passed away peacefully Sunday, August 21, 2016. She graduated from Spurger High School and was a longtime member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Her favorite pastime was bowling with her late husband, Bubba. Pauline will always be remembered for her soft spoken demeanor, the kindness she showed everyone, and her love for the Lord. She enjoyed taking care of her family and was an especially good cook. She was a treasured wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Bessie Mock; husband of 61 years, Otis Victor ""Bubba"" Navarre; brothers, Weldon, Jack, Jr., Willie, and Bobby Joe Mock; and sister, Betty Sanders. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Jerry Lounsberry and Wanda and Jerry Anderson; grandchildren, Tracey and Matt Riffle, Jeff and Becca Anderson, Danny and Mandy Tomlinson, and Jennifer and Danny Phillips; great grandchildren, Courtney Riffle, Sydney and Quincy Phillips, Spain Tomlinson, and Jaylee and Carter Anderson; and special niece, Michaelene Mock.

Her family will receive friends Tuesday, August 23, 2016, beginning at 1:00 p.m. with a funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Danny Phillips officiating. A private burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
