Pauline M. Staner

Pauline M. Staner, 91, of Baytown was born January 5, 1924, in Elkhart, TX and passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015, in a local hospital. She attended Lee College and the University of Houston and was a member of the Missouri Street Church of Christ Church, the Business and Professional Women's Association, and the La Porte Heritage Society. She had a career in banking in La Porte that spanned many years and she enjoyed traveling all over the world with her daughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Lillie McLen; husband, William C, Staner; and brother, Hiram McLen. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah S. Fortune of Baytown; sister, Shirley J. Belgau of La Porte; and her niece and nephews, Andrea, Robert, and Donald Belgau and Wayne McClen.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 19, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with David Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
