Pedro Fuentes

He was a devout Roman Catholic and a charter member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Sacred Heart Society, the Guadalupanas and an Eucharistic Minister, and faithfully visited the sick.

He loved the outdoors; feeding his birds was a complete joy to him. He enjoyed playing the harmonica and will be remembered by the family for birthday calls when he would play “Las Mananitas”.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Juanita R. Fuentes, 2 sons, Manuel and Benny Fuentes, a granddaughter, Levina Carin Fuentes.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Maria Olga Fuentes, 7 sons, Roy Fuentes, Albert Fuentes and wife Elia, Nash Fuentes, Ronnie Fuentes, Ricky Fuentes of Humble, TX, Andrew Fuentes of Houston, TX, and Roland Fuentes and wife Letty, a daughter, Angelina Santos and husband Jose, a daughter-in-law, Norma Fuentes, 2 sisters, Rosita and Chelito, step children, Hector Guzman, Melba Guzman, Olivia Nunez, Elva Rodriguez, and Rosa Dobson, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, as well as other family members and friends.

The Family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Earthman Funeral Home Chapel from 4:00pm to 9:00pm with a Rosary being recited at 7:00pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1124 Beech St., Baytown, TX 77520.
