Pedro Juan ""Johnny Ortiz

Pedro Juan ""Johnny"" Ortiz, 73, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2016 in Baytown, Texas. He was born on July 25, 1942 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Johnny was an exceptional family man and a loving father. He was a hard worker and had a heart of gold. His family and friends will always remember him as a kind, honest, and humble person.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro Ortiz and Santos Gomez, his brother Serafin Ortiz, and his sister, Miriam Ortiz. He is survived by his wife, Miriam Pascualli Ortiz, his daughters, Jeannette McGee, Joselyne Martinez, and Jelytza Geren, his grandchildren, Patrick J. Tatum, Austin C. Martinez, and Zachary B. Geren, his sons-in-law, Buford McGee and Chris Geren, his siblings, Hector Ortiz, Edgardo Ortiz, and Norma Cruz, and a host of relatives and friends.

A viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, January 13th, at Noon at Navarre Funeral Home located at 2444 Rollingbrook Drive in Baytown, Texas. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM. All are welcomed to attend and celebrate Johnny's life. Flowers may be sent to Navarre Funeral Home.
