Shirley, Pat and I are so sad to hear of Reggie's death.  He was a fun loving person and he brought smiles to so many faces.  The Anheuser Busch Family Day's were so much fun and we always looked forward to spending that day with our Budweiser Family.

  I was really saddened to here of the passing of Reggie. Y'all really made me feel welcome when I first moved to Houston. He will be missed.

Shirley, I am so sorry to hear about Reggie. I know we haven't been in touch very much lately, but I want you know how important you, Reggie, and your family have been to me. I didn't find out about Reggie till after the funeral, and really hate that I missed visitation and the funeral. I thought the world of Reggie and his infectious laugh. I have been very forunate to know him and your whole family. Hopefully I can catch up with ya'll soon and visit.

Oh, Daddy-OH!

Uncle Reggie,  I can't believe you aren't here with me anymore.  However, I know you and Daddy are together talking about cars, The Hill Country, Red River County, East Texas, and, Clarksville.  Our children didn't have the pleasure of knowing you and their granddaddy, but you two live on in my memories and the ones I share with them.  I will always remember you wanting to sell oranges to Daddy and Sharon about 30 years ago.  I will remember Disney, and the trips Daddy and I took to Texas.  I know you're in a much better place and are truly enjoying being with your brother.  I will never have another Uncle Reggie.  I love you, Leah.

Mrs. Crook, Kelly, and Darryl (my life long bud),  I was heartbroken and totally shocked by the news of the passing of one my most cherished and influential people I have ever had the pleasure to know.  I loved Mr. Crook and often thought of him as my second Dad.  He always had room in his truck to take me.  I never cared where we were going, because I knew he would make me smile when we got there.  Mr. Crook and my Dad are probably swapping stories in heaven right now.  I hope to see ya'll soon and I am praying for your family in your hour of need.  I Love each and every one of you.

I met Reggie at Armco Steel in the late'70's. He was a crucial member of our shipping crew. When Reggie was given a task you knew it would be done right the first time. After the shutdown we grew apart and I don't know why. Life often takes us in different directions. He was a good frind for many years. Marcus Bush

Father-in-law, I will so miss your ""how's it going son-in-law"" when I walked in the door or if I wanted something to eat or drink. I enjoyed the many times of going to car shows,talking about cars or sitting down and watching races with you. I will miss that smile and that little wink you had. My fondest memory is going with you to get your '40 Ford. I love you and will miss you terribly.

To be with the Crook Family was to be guaranteed lots of laughs and lots of caring.  When I came back to Texas in 1984 they took me in, treated me just like family, and were always there for me.  Reggie did many small jobs and favors for me as he did for all his friends.  He was someone you could count on.  I, too, will miss his great sense of humor as well as his ""specialty"" cooking, most notably when camping at Spicewood.  No one can barbecue better than Reggie could!

Reggie is going to be missed. I loved his sense of humor.  The last time he was at Dad's house I was painting fences.  He and Dad would sit in lawn chairs and watched me paint, when it was time to go to the next fence they got their chairs and followed me over to the next section. He told me he was fascinated by work; he could sit and watch it for hours.  I gave them such a hard time for 'supervising' my painting.  It was a great day.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  I had the pleasure of visiting with Mr. Crook just a short time ago. As usual he had on his smile and was laughing just as I remember growing up.  I know there are no words that can take away your pain, but hold on to the good memories they will get you thru the tough times ahead.   There are a couple of songs that I always hold on to during times like these and they are I can only Imagine, and He's not the leaving kind.  They help me to keep my faith when I feel like giving up, maybe they can give you some comfort as well.  I am so so sorry.  I will keep you all in my prayers.
