Raedean Arthur

Raedean was born to Adam Raymond Anderson and Pearl Lee Griffin Anderson, June 26, 1934, in Harris County. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1951. She married Edison Andrew Arthur, Jr. on August 16, 1954, and they lived together in Baytown, Texas. Together they raised two daughters, Tracy Casey and Stacy Hilliard.

She is survived by daughters, Tracy Casey and Stacy Hilliard (Gary Hilliard). She also leaves to cherish her memory, her grandchildren, Ayla Hamilton (Scott Hamilton), Clay Casey, Presley Hilliard (Paige Hilliard), Sarah Hilliard, Rachel Cardenas (Ovidio Cardenas), and Tessa Haertig (Riley Haertig), and great grandson, Valor Hamilton.

She was preceded in death by Adam Raymond and Pearl Anderson, (parents), Charlie and Bernice Anderson, (brother and sister in law), Ray and Irene Anderson, (brother and sister in law), Lorene and Floyd Walker, (sister and brother in law), and Dorothy and E.P. Hill, (sister and brother in law). Raedean began working for Harris County Savings and Loan and retired from Chase Bank in 1999. She enjoyed spending time with family, sewing, and cooking and baking for her Sunday lunches. She spent a lifetime devoted to those she loved, building a legacy rooted in compassion, strength, and unwavering support. Raedean was the heart of her family—the one who kept everyone connected, grounded, and cared for. Her gentle spirit, wise counsel, and kind presence were constants in the lives of all who knew her.

A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, May 23, 2025, at 11:00 am at Hill of Rest Cemetery.
