Ramiro Silva, Jr.

Ramiro ""Ray"" Silva, Jr., 43, of Baytown was born March 5, 1968 in San Antonio and passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011 in a Houston hospital. He was a 1986 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and a member of St. John's Catholic Church. He was a U. S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ramiro Silva, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife, Tish Silva, daughters, Reagan Silva and Grace Hamilton, and son, Seth Hamilton, all of Baytown; mother and stepfather, Delia Garza and Tony Colunga of San Antonio; stepmother, Virginia Silva of Katy; brother and sister-in-law, Lt Col Fred Silva, US Army and wife, Paula of San Antonio; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lisa and Stanley Gonzalez and Mary Jane and Raul Godina, all of San Antonio, Linda and Mark Roberts of Katy, Veronica and Juan Gamez of Highlands, Valerie and Ricky Flores and Vanessa Silva, all of Katy; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jimmy Earl and Sheila Burns of Baytown; and numerous nieces and nephews and special friends.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Saturday, July 30, 2011 beginning at 1:00 p.m. with a funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. with brother in law, Pastor Stanley Gonzalez officiating. At his request, he will be cremated afterwards and he will be inurned in the Houston National Cemetery.
