Randy W. Toups

Randy W. Toups, 49, of Baytown, TX was born April 5, 1956 in Baytown and went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 18, 2005 at his home after a long, hard battle with cancer. He was a 1974 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and worked for BP for 25 years. He was a member of the Baptist faith and liked to fish, camp, and work on cars.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 20, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Stafford officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be John Wilson, Troy Bowman, Scott Kell, Johnny Gregory, Pete Medina, and Telly Opelia.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene “Swampy” Toups, sister, Rebecca Ann Toups, and grandson, Brylan Butler. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Toups of Baytown; daughters, Julie Toups and Kristen Polo, both of Baytown; mother, Audrey Jones Toups Bryant of Baytown; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Donnie Wenckens of Baytown; brother and sister-in-law, Doyle and Sharon Toups of Houston; grandson, Bret Drake of Baytown; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Doc and Allene Hudson of Baytown; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Cynthia Hudson of Baytown and Glenda Moyers of Crosby; nieces and nephews, Troy Wenckens of Seabrook, Jody Wenckens of Baytown, Maegan and Sarah Toups of Houston, Angela and Lindsey Hudson of Baytown, Robin and Corey Wright of Baytown, and Mindy and Jamie Hudson of Crosby; great niece and great nephews, Tatum Wright of Baytown and Tyler Wenckens of Baytown and Riley Wenckens of Seabrook; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
