Raymond was, in the eyes of his girls, the epitome of what a father should be. His overwhelming love and dedication to his family was evident. He often spoke of how blessed he was to have a family who loved him. But it was those around him who were truly blessed.
For his grandsons, he was there to cheer and support. He treasured the summer vacations spent with them each year visiting ballparks around the country. His most favorite was Wrigley Field because of his love for the City of Chicago and the Cubbies. He was an encyclopedia of sports, but his favorites were golf, baseball and basketball.
Raymond was preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years Bea, Sister, Aurora Briones and Brother Tomas Garcia. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-laws, Elda and William Condra, and Delma and Ron Naiser. He leaves behind his beloved grandsons Adam and Jacob Naiser who brought never ending joy to his life. He would often say they were the best things to happen to him. He is survived by his brother Israel Garcia (Gloria), and sisters, Lydia Martinez (Vince), Elvia Calderon (Cruz), Irma Rivera (Armando), brother-in-law, Charlie Rodriguez whom he loved like a brother and numerous nieces and nephews.
