

Raymond E. Tadlock, 63, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 25, 2010 surrounded by loved ones. He was born on December 4, 1947 in Silsbee, Texas to Eddie Lee and Juanice Tadlock. He was a proud graduate of Jesse H. Jones High School in Houston and maintained many friendships with his classmates over the years. He attended Tyler Junior College and was in the last graduating class of the Lamar State College of Technology, now Lamar University and served in the Army National Guard. Raymond retired from ExxonMobil Pipeline Co. after more than 29 years of service and was employed by Stan Oliver and Associates until May of this year. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, was a Royal Ambassador leader and enjoyed singing in the choir. He was a longtime Little League coach and umpire. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed photography, fishing, playing guitar, singing with friends and riding his motorcycle. On many weekends he could be found touring the country with his friends from Chapter 221 of the Star Touring and Riding Motorcycle Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Milton Tadlock. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Tadlock of Baytown; son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Lori Tadlock of Baytown; daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Kevin Touchet of Cypress; sister, Margaret Lanier of Deer Park; grandchildren, Haley and Logan Tadlock and Reagan and Emma Touchet; nieces, Kelly Davenport, Dana Newsom, Shelly Jarrett, and Kim Inskeep; and numerous friends.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with childhood friend Rev. Emory Gadd and longtime friend Rev. Bill Ingram officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Ciolli, Mingo Gutierrez, Bruce Acree, Gary Holmes, Lee McBunch, David Jones, Joel Whitaker and Stan Oliver.
