RD worked in the construction field for 50+ years and retired from consulting at San Jacinto College in 2013. He loved his family and he never met a stranger. He lived to make others smile or even crack up laughing. He bowled with the same group of guys for 50 years and enjoyed deer hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Clara. Five sons Dewayne & his wife, Rachel, Randall and his wife, Rachel, Richard, Raylan and Russell and his wife, Terri. Grandchildren Cammie, Sarah, Melissa, Holly, Michael, Brittnie, Kelsey, Paige, Alexis, Emma, Lauren and Abel. He was also blessed with fifteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 4, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at First Church Baytown, 3105 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, Texas 77521. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM, also at First Church Baytown. Interment will follow at Cedar Bayou Masonic Cemetery, 2850 Ferry Rd., Baytown, Texas 77520.
