

How do you speak for the one that spoke so eloquently for all of us? It’s difficult. Like what he wrote for Pat at Christmas time. “You are my caregiver & helpmate for better or worse –now and forever. In your hands, you have always held and now hold the most fragile thing I possess – MY HEART!” How does one follow such beautiful words as those, but we will try, because he was so deserving of a speech about his life.
Here it goes Rex,
You were a loving father, husband, son, uncle and friend. He had a calling to be a teacher at Liberty High School, his one true love for Science. He went to Deer Park High School, U of H Masters of Education and Bachelors in Science. He was retired from Exxon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bo & Helen Brown; son, Rex Jr,; Lou and Walter SoRelle; Hulen and Thelma Jones; Aunt Linda Parrish and Johnny Melton.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Pat Brown; and son, Mark Brown; several nieces and nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, and many friends.

Pallbearers are Jeff Jones, John Litt, Christopher Litt, Dr. Chad Barrett, John Clark, Bob Campbell.

Visitation will be held at Earthman Funeral Home, Baytown Texas on Friday, June 20th, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00pm.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 21st, 2014 at 10:00am at Earthman Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery.
