He was a great husband, father, brother and Gramps. He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1980 after 20+ years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and “scratch-off”. He really loved listening to country music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oran and Mozelle Cox, and his loving wife of 49 years, Joan Cox.
He is survived by a son, Patrick Cox and wife Annette, a daughter, Penny Robertson and husband Donny, grandchildren, Taylor and Lorin Hilyard, Tanner Hilyard, Corbin and Kaleb Cox, brothers, Ronnie Cox and wife Sandy, Rickey Cox and wife Linda, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
