Rhodene was born in Walters, Oklahoma in Cotton County on March 5, 1939. Later on, the family moved to Grapevine, Texas, where she attended school and graduated.
Her parents were James Orval Gay and Madalene (Roberts) Gay. She was the third of four children.
Rhodene met and fell in love with the love of her life Kenneth Marlan Frederick and they married on February 14, 1959. They were married for 52 years and had two beautiful daughters.
Rhodene earned her Bachelors Degree in 1983, and got her Brokers License in 1995. She worked at many different jobs throughout her life time. From being a real estate Broker to a Purchasing Agent to a Graphic Computer Designer.
In her spare time Rhodene enjoyed doing many different things. She had her own ceramic room and loved making porcelain dolls. She enjoyed playing all kinds of games on the computer, cataloging her genealogy, putting puzzles together and reading.
Rhodene loved to collect nesting dolls, spoons, thimbles and postcards and she had a passion for light houses.
Rhodene was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth M. Frederick and her daughter Rhonda (Frederick) Gay Adams.
She is survived by her daughter Teresa (Frederick) Talerico and her children, Kerstie (Frederick) Gardner and her husband Bill Gardner and their children, Daisy and William. Jadene (Frederick) Lee and her husband Rett Lee. Dominic Talerico, and Payton Talerico.
Grandson’s Royce Gene Adams III and his children, Ashley Adams and her son Jay Adams; Gene Adams, and Cowan Adams; Christopher Adams and his wife Amanda and their children, Jason Adams and Jacob Adams.
With six grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, Rhodene was surrounded with love and tons of smiles.
