Ricky L. Welch, 52, of Beach City, TX was born February 14, 1953 and passed away Thursday, November 3, 2005 in a Houston hospice. He was a 1971 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and was retired from ExxonMobil Refinery and was a member of Baptist Temple. He held a private pilot’s license and was an avid flyer, taking many trips with his wife and son in his own airplane. He enjoyed working on cars, including one that is an antique.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, November 7, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie B. and Edwina Welch and is survived by his wife, Cindy Welch and son, Jacob Welch, both of Beach City; and brother, Eddie Welch of Baytown.
