

Robert Ray Crawley, a beloved and hard-working man, passed away on February 23, 2026, at the age of 71. A resident of Beach City, Texas, Robert was known for his selfless and generous nature, as well as his kind-hearted and wise demeanor. His resilience throughout life made him a cherished figure to those who knew him.
Robert was born on June 16, 1954, and grew up in Baytown. He graduated from Ross Sterling and, as a young man, enjoyed racing motorcycles and horses. His adventurous spirit and determination shaped his early years and continued throughout his life.
In his career, Robert was a respected leader, overseeing Crawley Seafood and Marina and Crawley Shoreline Construction. His dedication and hard work were evident in every endeavor he pursued.
Robert is survived by his sons, Brent Crawley and Bobby Crawley, and his daughter, Cassie Crawley Landriault (Garrett). He is also survived by his sisters, Penny Sibery (Joe) and Carolyn McNulty, as well as his grandchildren, Devin Crawley, Anthony, Ryliee, Sutton, Blayke, Braxton, and Robert. His close family friend, Troy Woodall and family, were also an important part of his life. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Vera Crawley, his brother, James Crawley, and his sisters, Dale Crawley and Becky Phillips.
Robert had a passion for hunting, shrimping, and enjoying time with family. He cherished spending time with his close friends and looked forward to Football Sundays with Brent and Devin. His businesses were a significant part of his life, and he found joy in working with them.
Known for his selfless nature, Robert was always willing to help those in need. He loved deeply and sincerely, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he met. His family expresses their gratitude and thanks to his loyal caregivers, Bruce Henegan and Desiree Davis.
He will be missed by many and loved forever by all who met him. His memories will live on and be told for the rest of time.
