

Keith was preceded in death by parents Arthur Howard Holt and Ozell Collins Holt and brother-in-law Bradley J. Loria. Keith is survived by his wife, who was his best friend and soul mate, Suzanne Loria Holt; daughters Ferril Marie Holt Minx and husband Rusty and Abby Michelle McAdams; sons Forrest Anthony Holt and Zachary Keith Holt; grandson Russel Paul (RP) Minx; sisters Donna Holt Rhoades and husband Bill, Pam Holt Ansley and husband Mike; brothers Arthur H. Holt and wife Dana, James A. Holt and wife Becky; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and special friends.
Keith was a member of Cedar Bayou Grace United Methodist Church. He loved spending time with family, and they were an important part of his life. He had a great love for the outdoors, including camping, fishing, and golfing. He also enjoyed cooking and entertaining guests at the beach. Keith served the community and his church family by coaching softball and soccer, serving as President of the Baytown Saints Soccer Club, Scout Master for Boy Scouts Troop 93, Charter organization representative between BSA Troop 93 to Cedar Bayou UMC, volunteer to Goose Creek Special Olympics, Cedar Bayou UMC Chair of Trustees, United Way Day of Caring Team Leader, and numerous other organizations.
Keith was employed by ExxonMobil Research and Engineering as a Senior Staff Engineer. He held numerous positions within Baytown Engineering Services and ExxonMobil Research and Engineering in Baytown, Mont Belvieu, and Beaumont. Keith's assignments ranged from inspection support to Baytown sites, project and turnaround support, and the Inspection Lead to ExxonMobil Chemical worldwide. In his roles, Keith served as a key contributor to developing non-destructive testing technologies for the industry to help improve the safety of oil and gas facilities.
In his current assignment, he was the Quality Assurance Manager for the new North American Growth Project at the Baytown Olefins and Mont Belvieu Plastics Plants. Keith was highly regarded for his inspection and maintenance knowledge throughout ExxonMobil Chemical Company, and was a mentor to many employees and contractor personnel. Keith was a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the American Society for Nondestructive Testing where he represented ExxonMobil on several peer committees.
Serving as pallbearers will be Charlie Bitterly, Gilbert Santana, Mark Fuqua, Steve Fess, Greg Terry, Troy Loria, Everett Johnston, and Bob Cook. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Rhoades, Mike Ansley, Arthur Holt, James Holt, Adam Rhoades, Raymond Quinones, Jerry Williams, Philip Guillory, and J. W. Holt.
His family will receive friends Thursday, April 7, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 8, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Cedar Bayou Grace United Methodist Church, 2714 Ferry Road, Baytown, Texas 77520. The service will be officiated by Rev. John Newsome and Rev. M. Rhett Ansley, with fellowship to follow in the CBGUMC Busch Center.
