Robert E. ""Bob"" Rhodes

Robert E. “Bob” Rhodes, 59, of Baytown, TX was born September 14, 1951 in Corpus Christi and passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010 in a Baytown hospital. He worked as an Ironworker for 10 years before going to work for Rohm and Haas in 1989, now Dow Chemical, where he was employed at the time of his death. He was an avid fisherman and golfer at the Goose Creek Country Club.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Toni Rhodes. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Debbie Rhodes of Baytown; daughters and son-in-law, Amanda and Colin McKenzie of East Lansing, MI, Amber Rhodes of Dallas, and Alissa Rhodes of Baytown; father, Gene Rhodes of Baytown; and brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Vivian Rhodes of Kissimmee, FL.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Biddy officiating. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 p.m. at New Harmony Cemetery in Smith County just northwest of Tyler.
