Roberto Aldrete, 44, of Baytown, Texas passed away peacefully Monday, February 4, 2019 at his home in Baytown, Texas. He was born on March 19, 1974 in Brownsville, Texas to Juan H. and Amelia (Aguirre) Aldrete. He was a 1992 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School. He was a proud fighting Texas A&M Aggie Class of 1996. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Erasmo and Daria Aldrete; maternal grandparents, Francisco and Maria Luisa Aguirre; Aunt Irma Segura and Uncle Bernardo Aldrete and Aunt Dolores Aldrete. He is survived by parents, Juan H. and Amelia Aldrete Aguirre; sister, Norma Smith and brother-in-law Benjamin Smith; brother, Juan H. Aldrete, Jr. and sister-in-law Jennifer Aldrete; nieces and nephews, Paul Reyes, Ashtyn and Ayden Aldrete, Cristian Eguia, Jonathan Eguia, Isabella Eugia and Bryce Reed Smith. Those interested in a remembrance are gratefully asked to make a contribution the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society lls.org. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from Noon until two o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, 10th of February, in the chapel of Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road in Baytown. A memorial service and celebration of Roberto’s life will be conducted at two o’clock following the visitation.

Robert I miss you so much. I wish this was just a bad dream. Just a few weeks ago the whole family was together. Everyone so happy to see you. We could not stop giving you hugs. Had I known that was the last time I was going to see you I would have never let you go. I don't think any of us would have. You had such a wonderful impact on each one of our lives. I thank God all us cousins have always been so close. Heartbreaking though that now we are missing you. I will thank God always for the time that he let us have you in our lives. Thank you for always making time for us and helping us when we asked you. You were a big brother to all us cousins. Giving us the best advice. Love you always. Your cousin.

Prayers for Robert’s family. So very sorry for your loss.
I remember Robert ‘s sweet smile and kind heart. He was always a joy to be around. We will always have fond memories of watching him grow up. Even though we have not seen Robert since he graduated High School,he will always have a special place in our hearts!
