Rodney Lowery Baker

He was born July 12, 1962 in Marlin, Texas, lived most of his life in Houston, was a Service Technician with Hobart A/C and Heating and was a Master Mason at the South Houston Masonic Lodge #1295 AF&AM.

Rodney served his country in the Army from 1980 to 1984.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Baker, Sr. and his grandparents, Spencer and Lola Lowery.

Survivors include his daughters, Cassandra Alcala of California and Breanna Baker of Houston; parents, Linda and Gary Petterson of Beach City; brother, Bobby Baker, Jr. and his wife Victoria of Houston; sister, Laura Ekstrom and her husband Clay of Deer Park; step-brother, Michael Petterson and his wife Linda of Dayton; uncle, Rodney Lowery and his wife Becky of Baytown; aunts, Patsy, Mary and Carolyn all of Kosse, Texas; cousins, Deryle and Dwayne Lowery and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Norris officiating. Graveside Masonic Rites will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 14, 2009 at the Kosse City Cemetery in Kosse, Texas under the auspices of South Houston Masonic Lodge #1295 AF&AM.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, December 11, 2009 at the funeral home.
