Rodney Jackson

Rodney Jackson, 75, of Baytown was born February 21, 1937 in Baytown and passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012 in a local hospital. He was a member of New Wine Church and along with his wife worked closely with the Friendship Ministries. He retired from Lubrizol in Deer Park.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Edna Jackson and sister, Reba Gibson. He is survived by his wife, Lou Ellen Jackson of Baytown; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Tammy Jackson and Randy and Leslie Jackson, all of Baytown and Kieth and Christen Jackson of Groesbeck; daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Wesley Westbrook of Baytown; missionary children, Bio and Derida of Guatemala; brother and sister-in-law, Robert Paul and Edna Jackson of Reno, NV; sister and brother-in-law, Kay Frances and Tim Guyton of Ardmore, TN; and 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home for a memorial visitation Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the New Wine Church, 5410 FM 1942, Baytown, TX 77521 with Rev. Bill Walles officiating.

In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
