Ronald Ronnie"" Wayne Miller

Ronald ""Ronnie"" Wayne Miller, 64, of Baytown, Texas, passed away, Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at his home. Ronnie was born on February 27, 1950 in Baytown. He attended Ross S. Sterling High School. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1969-1970. He was a welder and pipeline welding inspector.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Sturrock. Ronnie is survived by his wife of 32 years, Polly Miller of Baytown; daughters, Paige Miller and partner, Kelly Ochoa of Austin and Jessica Moses and husband, Jeremy of Nacogdoches; mother, Doris Sturrock of Baytown; brother, Donnie Miller and wife, Debbie of Dayton; and sister, Patty Masters and husband, David of Alabama.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Saturday, December 6, 2014, beginning at 1:00 p.m. with a celebration of life service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tommy Clements officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 922, P.O. Box 2285, Baytown, Texas, 77522 or the American Cancer Society.

Ronnie left a lasting impression on so many people during his time here on earth. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, coworkers, and fellow fishermen.
