Ronnie Jones

Ronnie lived in the Houston area all of his life including Baytown for the last 8 years and Highlands for 15 years before that. He was a pioneer in the Houston Inter-Modal trucking industry, a member of the Baytown Boat club, an avid Astros fan and a San Jacinto River rat.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, July 23, 2007 at the Woodlawn Funeral Chapel in Houston with Rev. Rose Marie Hammond officiating. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Houston.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 22, 2007 at the Navarre Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Baytown.

Survivors include: Wife: Nan Jones; Children: Norman Jones & Connie, Ronda Wilkinson & Roger Cramer, Robbi Turek & Ed, Ronald Jones, Jr. & Bonnie and Reagan Jones & Kim; Brothers: Lynn Jones and Milton Jones & Dorothy Jan; 14 Grandchildren; 13 Great-Grandchildren and Several Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by: Parents: Mark and Dovie Jones; Sister: Willadene and Grandson: Daniel Turek.
