Rosa Mae Feye Johnson

Rosa Mae Feye Johnson, 87, of Baytown was born December 26, 1925, in San Saba and passed away Friday, December 13, 2013 in a Houston hospital. Rosa was the founder of Anchor Realty in Baytown and owned Rosa Johnson Real Estate in Baytown. She attended Sam Houston State University and was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Baytown Lions Club, Goose Creek Country Club, and a longtime member of Beta Sigma Phi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Theresa Faye; husband of 59 years, Dr. Burnett Johnson; and brother, Michael Feye. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Ruddick of Baytown; son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Shelley Johnson of Cassville, GA; brother and sisters-in-law, Buddy and Kay Mitchell of Baytown and Ruta Feye of Lake Charles, LA; grandchildren, Dustin Fleming of Denver, CO, Jennifer Fleming of Baytown, Breann Johnson-Polen of Crosby, and Kara Johnson of Katy; great grandson, Cohen Cerda; nieces, Jami-Jon Pearson of Raleigh, NC and Julie Feye of Lake Charles, LA; and numerous other family members and friends.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Proctor officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dustin Fleming, Rick Payne, William Secor, Conrad Ramquist, Dustin Cuellar, and Daniel Polen.
