Roslyn Jenàe Mackey, 27, of Highlands, TX was born June 18, 1979 in Dallas and went to be with our Lord on Monday, October 30, 2006. Roslyn was a vivacious, generous, kind hearted, talented, and beautiful young woman. She enjoyed life and loved to be around her family and friends. Her greatest thrill was her nephew, Gavin.
She is survived by her mother, Michelle Mackey of Highlands; father, Lorenzo Mackey Jr. of Arizona; loving twin sister and brother-in-law, Erisha and Chris Rymer of Baytown and nephew Gavin Rymer; brothers, Jermundy Mackey of Katy, Charles Mackey of Korea, and Canjaa Mackey of Arizona; little sister, Zara Mackey of Dallas; paternal grandmother, Jessie Mae Mackey of Houston; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 4, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Edwards officiating. She will then be laid to rest at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
