Ross Carter

Ross Carter, 40, of Baytown was born July 27, 1970 in Baytown and passed away Friday, July 1, 2011. He was a 1988 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and enjoyed fishing. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, and son who loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Blake Mitchell Carter; grandparents, Cecil H. Jr. and Mary Dell Carter; and uncle, Ira Thompson. He is survived by his son, Joshua Allen Carter, daughter and fiancé, Corie Taylor Carter and Ryon Breton, father and stepmother, Grady and Gloria Carter, mother and stepfather, Jo Ellen and Jerry Young, and brother, Jarred Young, all of Baytown; stepsisters, Angela Amrine and husband, Donnie Gregory and Alicia Pyron and husband, Greg, all of Deer Park; grandmothers, Dorothy Casteel of Lockhart and Bea Carter of Baytown; granddaughter, Andie Marie Chevelle Breton; grandson, Dallon Elliott Carter; former wife, Tina Marie Perdew of Baytown; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home. At his request, he will be cremated afterwards.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Keys, Rene Almedarez, Chris Kirkland, Dennis Sweeny, Richard Grisolm, Paul Moyers, and Tommy Platt.

In lieu of usual remembrances contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P. O. Box 841125, Dallas, TX 75284-1125.
