Ruby was born in Hightower, TX to James and Ruby Macon on July 15, 1927. Ruby was a long time resident of Baytown and in recent years resided in Old River-Winfree, TX where she attended Old River Baptist Church. Ruby was an avid Houston Astros fan and she really enjoyed dancing. She also enjoyed traveling with friends and treasure hunting. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Thomas Macon and Ruby Carter Macon; two brothers, J.T. Macon and Bill Macon; and a son, David Glen Barker. She is survived by a daughter, Judy Barker Farnham and husband Jack; a son, John T. Barker and wife Cindy; a grandson, Clint R. Farnham.
Graveside Services will be held on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 2:00pm at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521.
