

Ruby Maurine “Nana” Dalton, 91, of Baytown, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, August 5, 2005. She was born November 2, 1913 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to John and Leona Maxwell. She was an Admitting Clerk for Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday August 8, at Navarre Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Dottie Dumas. She will be laid to rest at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Robert Bradford; brothers, John Maxwell, Thomas Maxwell, Henry Maxwell; sister, Mary Stanley.
She is survived by her grandsons, Robert Bradford and wife Shirley, Scott Bradford and wife Lynette; great grandchildren, Nicki Bradford-Kana, Kim Bradford, Alyssa Bradford, Ashley Cox, Kyle Cox; nieces and nephews, Mary Margaret Russell, Henry Maxwell, Annie Laurie Maxwell, and Joe Maxwell.
The family would like to thank Regency Hospice for their care and support for the last year of Maurine’s life.
A special “thank you” to the staff, nurses, and aides at Swan Manor for their special care, love, and friendship they gave to our grandmother.
