My sweet, beautiful Memaw
Your unconditional love and continuous prayers have touched all of our lives. We can find peace knowing you are now with your very best friend Jesus. I know your heart is full in his presence. We will miss you so very much. I am reassured you will constantly be whispering on our behalf to the Lord. I know all my days I will hear your constant reminder "are you sure the Lord would be ok with that". I love you and promise to continue the prayers here for all of our sakes. Until I see you again with Jesus. I love you.

Seeing this makes it all too real. I keep telling myself it's just a bad dream but fact is it's reality. I just talked to her a couple of weeks ago. Called her just to check on her and tell her I loved her. I wish I would have known it was going to be the last time I heard her voice because I would have never hung up the phone. I'm saying this out of experience, because I took for granted that she'd always be here with us, spend time with your loved ones because in the blink of an eye the good lord can call them home. She was more than just Memaw, she was the Matriarch to our family. She was the wise one that lived through the great depression, she raised up 5 children into loving, caring, and God fearing adults that went on to raise up their own children the same way. And now those Children are raising up their children the same way and even a couple of her great grand children are raising up their children with those same morals she instilled into the generations before them. She will definitely be missed, her laughter was infectious and her smile would light up a dark room. Most of all she had a heart of gold as big as Texas. Memaw we love you and miss you already! But I know you're right there next to Jesus!
