Ruth Marie Ehrhardt

Ruth Marie Ehrhardt, 92, of Baytown, passed away, peacefully at a Baytown area hospital Wednesday, December 27, 2006. She was born December 3, 1914 in Glendale, Texas. She was a homemaker who raised 3 children. She was a very independent woman who loved shopping and entertaining. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the Professional Business Womens Association, and was named Business Woman of the Year in 1990.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ehrhardt; parents, Ben and Mary Campbell; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.

She is survived by her children, Wilma McGrenera, Mary Richards and husband Mike, Leon Ehrhardt and wife Kathryn; sisters, Naomi Smith, Annie Mae Bolinger; grandchildren Patrick McGrenera and wife Kathy, Ryan McGrenera and wife Madelon, Jill Huffines and husband David, Karyn O’Neal and husband Bobby; 8 great grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home on Saturday December 30th, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday December 30th, at 11:30 a.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Herb Eifert.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her care-giver, Iris Goss, and the staff at Highlands House.
