

Salvador Torres, born on January 29, 1955, in Miguel Aleman, Tamaulipas, Mexico, peacefully passed away on November 26, 2025, at the age of 70. Salvador was a hard-working, patient, faithful, humorous, thoughtful, compassionate, kind-hearted, and brave individual who touched the lives of many.
Salvador was a superintendent for Derk Harmsen Construction where he dedicated 44 years of his life, where he was known for his abilities to finish projects in record times. Throughout his career, he was respected for his hard work where he demonstrated a remarkable work ethic and dedication to his craft.
Family was Salvador's pride and joy. He instilled in his children the importance of hard work, kindness, and loyalty to family. He is survived by his beloved wife Clara Torres, nine children and their spouses, nineteen grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
In his personal life, Salvador loved to fish, hunt, and tinker with treasures he found, always emphasizing that everything has a purpose and a solution. His personal getaway was to the valley in Roma, Texas where would visit with family and often accompanied by his son-in-law Joe to go hunting. Salvador cherished sharing his hunting and fishing experiences with family and friends, creating lasting memories.
Salvador was full of wisdom and advice, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he knew. He had a charismatic personality that could uplift any room, and he loved to help people succeed. His legacy lives on in our hearts through music and dancing, and he will always be remembered as a free spirit and a hard worker.
Visitation will be held at Navarre Funeral Home, located at 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, Texas, on December 1, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same venue, starting at 12:00 pm. A graveside service will take place at Cedarcrest Cemetery, 3010 Ferry Road, Baytown, Texas, at 1:30 pm.
Salvador's legacy will always be remembered by all the people whose lives he touched, and live on in the hearts of all of his family and friends. Not a day goes by when you're not loved and missed.
