

Syble Naomi ""Noni"" Chandler 95 of Highlands, Texas was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, was born April 16, 1920 in Panama, Oklahoma and went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, July 4th, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.
She was a 1938 graduate of Lee High School, where she met her loving husband Woodrow Chandler, whom she shared her life with for 61 years. They built their life in Highlands, Texas where they raised their three children until retirement. Upon retirement they moved to Camp Creek Lake where Noni remained until moving back to Highlands. Noni had many close friends at the lake and was a member of numerous clubs and associations. She was a co-founding member of the Camp Creek Gardening Club. Her hobbies included crocheting, canasta, baking, bowling, swimming, bridge, fishing, and hunting.
Noni was a resident of Mountbatten House, where she was blessed with a loving, extended family, and received excellent care. She enjoyed playing Phase 10, dominoes, making crafts and Tuesday morning church services.
Noni was preceded in death by her parents; Harry and Hattie Kilgore; beloved husband, Woodrow Chandler; and two sisters, and one brother. She is survived by her children, Bryant Lee Chandler and wife, Bonnie, Brenda Ernst and husband, Bruce and Dwight Chandler and wife, Dawn; grandchildren, Misti Mosley and husband, Ronnie, Kara Johnson, Chad Ernst and Shannon Pogue and husband, Rodger; great grandchildren, Tasheena Perrran and husband, Billy, Blue Secatero, Cameron Johnson, River Mosley, Brylin Springer, Reese Pogue; great great grandchildren, Phayden Carter, Phoenix Carter, Phox Perran and numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Blue Secatero, River Mosley, Cameron Johnson, Ronnie Mosley, Rodger Pogue, Billy Perran, Mike Barrington and Brandon Springer. Honorary pallbearer will be Blake Becktold.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 6:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. also at Navarre Funeral Home with Brother Mike Habernehl Officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens.
Her family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Mohamad Hameed, Dr. Reza Khoshnevis and the Mountbatten House Management and Staff for the exceptional care given to their dear mother.
