She was born September 23, 1940 in Bay City to her late parents, Elva Rickaway Bump and George Bump, Sr., was a longtime resident of Baytown and an Auditing Supervisor for Sears.
Syble was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thurman Watson and her brothers, George Bump, Jr. and Eugene Bump.
Survivors include her son, Allen Dale Watson and his wife Patty of Houston; daughter, Terrie Duke and her husband Stewart of Baytown; sisters, Ruby Petty of Portland, Texas and Darlene Hoffman of Bay City and grandchildren, Wade Hampton Duke and Grant Thurman Duke.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at Memory Gardens in Baytown with Rev. Tommy Lyles officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Navarre Funeral Home.
