Teresa Helen Gonzales was born on August 20 1981 at Women’s Hospital in Houston, Texas to the late Diane Francis and Joseph David Gonzales. She was the only child of David and spent most of her years in Baytown. Graduated from Sterling-Baytown High School and obtained an Associates Degree in Safety Management, and Certification in Logistics from Lee College. Utilized her degree and certification, working years in the refineries until health issues became a challenge. Due to her ability to overcome, she became an entrepreneur using her creative abilities and even sold fashion jewelry to some of us!
Teresa was a loving daughter, mother and wife! She cared for both of her parents during their illness, alongside her loving, dedicated husband. There were times when she was experiencing her own health restrictions, but she pushed through those times for them both, and mothered their son, alongside younger cousins, in their time of need. She was a very strong and determined young woman who endured and overcame many medical issues and was in constant pain but used her experiences to lift others up. Always giving of herself to help family and friends. She will be remembered for her transparency, humor and free spirit.
Teresa Helen Thomas leaves behind the love her life, as she is of his, (devoted husband) Johnathan Wayne Thomas (married 15 yrs.) and (son) Daniel Blakely Thomas (fiance’ Trinity and grandson on the way). Older brother –Shawn Jenkins (wife, Dale and nephew, Christian and niece Chelsey) and special cousins Yara Zasadzinski (James) and Stavrous Gonzales, along with a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and awesome neighbors!
