Tharon Holcomb

Tharon was a member of Highlands United Methodist Church and was previously a member of the Royal Rovers R. V. Club. She was a very active member of the Over 42 Club and the Senior Group at the Community Center. She loved playing dominoes and other games and winning at all of them. She graduated from Sugar Land High School as valedictorian. In her earlier years, she worked as a designer in various florist shops in the Baytown area.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, John Monroe Holcomb. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Raye Holcomb of Dumfries, VA. and John and Kim Holcomb of Roanoke, TX; daughters and sons-in-law Ramona and Cotton Hill of Baytown, TX, Mary and Al Del Prete of Lincoln, CA, Patsy and Everett Nash of Le Sueur, MN, 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Pall bearers will be Tom Anderson, Keith Anderson, Todd Morrow, Jack Clay, Susan Morrow, and Becky Nash.
