

Theo Ray Wilson, age 71, of Lake Limestone, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Theo was born in Houston, TX on August 1, 1950 to George Wilson Jr. and Matalie “Joyce” Boles Wilson. Theo was the 2nd of 4 children and attended high school at Galena Park High School.
After graduation, Theo began a career with Exxon Mobil as a Process Technician and retired in 2006 after serving for 34 years as a 2nd Line Supervisor. In 1975, he married Linda Wilson on August 29, in Alvin, TX and they were married for 46 years and had two sons, Jacob and John.
Theo was calm patient and rational an very dedicated to family. His most precious moments in life were marrying his wife Linda Wilson and watching his sons and grandkids grow up. Theo loved playing golf, enjoyed a great day out fishing and any time he could get away and travel with his family. He also enjoyed spending time with Fred and Angela Chandler, Tom and Liz Watkins, James Barns, Robert and JoAnn McCain and they were involved in the Tri County Golf Club.
Theo served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971 during the Vietnam War. He attained the rank of E4 and received the National Defense Service Metal, the Vietnam Service Medal with 1 Bronze Service Star, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Bronze Star Medal, the Air Medal with Numerical 1, the Combat Infantryman Badge, and the Expert (Rifle M-16).
He was preceded in death by; his father George Wilson Jr, mother Matalie “Joyce” Boles Wilson; brother Gary Wilson; sister Sonja Sylve.
He is survived by; wife Linda Wilson; sons John Wilson and Jacob Wilson; daughter-in-law Tandi Wilson and Jana Wilson; grandkids Sidney Wilson, Keagan Wilson, Summer Wilson, Avery Wilson, Marion Wilson, Carson Raye Wilson; bonus grandkids Logan and Landon; great grandchild Casey Ray Wilson, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Theo will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, TX 77521, followed by a memorial service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
